Rockfall protection systems
The rockfall barriers, as outlined by the EOTA – ETAG027 guidelines, are made of one or more identical functional modules placed sequentially, allowing the rockfall barrier to adapt to the necessary length for protection of people and/or infrastructures below.  The assembled systems are classified according to the level of kinetic energy which the rockfall barrier is able to absorb, considering both the Service Energy Level (SEL) and the Maximum Energy Level (MEL).

The rockfall barriers which we offer have been certified for MEL levels equal to:

1000 kJ (follow this link for further detail) – Class 3A, residual height > 50% nominal height
2000 kJ (follow this link for further detail) – Class 5A, residual height > 50% nominal height
3000 kJ (follow this link for further information) – Class 6A, residual height > 50% nominal height
