Active slope stabilization

HPN System

Steel Wire Meshes are often used while working to contain loose blocks and stabilize sliding soil.  Spread in single rolls which adhere to the ground,  the mesh helps prevent break-offs, containing rocky material.

Rockfall Defence offers companies and technicians the HPN Slope Stabilization System composed of high-performance steel wire mesh, various types of anchor plates and nails. The HPN system covers the following functions: slope stabilization, protection against breaking out, rockfall protection, erosion protection.

The HPN system is a high-grade stabilization system designed for stabilizing and securing steep slopes which require both higher level of erosion prevention and easy setup/adaptation to variable geomorphological condition.

The steel wire mesh, associated with proper anchors plates and nails, is available in two different configurations: HPN soil, suited for loose terrains; and HPN rock, suited for fractured solid rocks.

The slope stabilization system consists of:

  1. High-performance steel wire mesh (150kN/m  vertical x 150kN/m  horizontal)
  2. Steel anchor plates
  3. Steel anchor nails (bars)
  4. Ropes for connecting the panels
  5. Dimensioning specially designed for the HPN system
